I have often wondered that too, almost all of them on all Toronto networks(CBC,TSN,SN) are just fan boys of the Leafs and do not do their job properly

He, and the rest of the top line are not a problem here. Let's take a look at the Bozaks and JVRs of this team who are continually doing defensive fly boys instead of backchecking, or taking the body at all.

The D hasn't been great, Freddie has been sub par, but the real problem right now is the forwards who aren't playing a strong defensive game.

Well I hate when guys say..matthews will score 3 and we'll be kicking ass..and blah blah blah ..setting up the let down! ..lots of hype coming into this season! ..the problem facing the leafs is the defense. .obviously! .they've got good players. .just as a unit they seem to flounder? ..I asked the question is it the defensive coach? ..the pairings? ..their lacking that number 1or2? Guy and it seems their in a bit of a holding pattern. .as most teams right now .U S.thanksgiving is usually the time teams will take a look at the teams performance ,and possibly make changes?

Hyman is brutal. Ya he works hard but so many offensive plays end when he can't make a pass to his sexy linemates. He wins the puck behind the net but isn't capable of getting it in the front of the net or back to the point.

I say stack the AM and Kadri lines. Keep the 'best forecheckers in the league' on the bottom of the trash heap.

And please, for the love of blue koolaid keep Komapeon off the PP.

Marner is one of the laziest this year.
