Denver has a very good defense & their offense is better than our most weeks

Miami is probably a pretender

Let’s just see about Oakland
Idk if their defense is as bad as our offense

Jacksonville’s offense is better than ours & their defense is very good

San Diego’s record could be a lot better if they had a decent kicker to start the year. They are better than their “4 losses” makes them appear

Tennessee has a lot of talent... not even close to mediocre. Once Mariotta is healthy, they’ll be tough to beat

Fortunately,
we have the tie-breaker against Denver
But we will likely need to beat Oakland & San Diego’s as well

We might finish ahead of some/all of these teams...
but it sounds like you’re writing them off,
and that’s premature

We could easily finish behind any of these teams, even Miami
They’re the only team in this list with a worse offense than ours

If we can’t consistently score,
thinking we will be able to consistently win isn’t a sound idea

- jdfitz77

Difference is we have a step on these teams, and none look particularly good.

Things can change, but a lucky win here or there might end this 17 year streak

2 turnovers

for a running qb, he does not turn the ball over much which is one of the reasons why the bills are 4-2 and not 2-4

- homiedclown

This.

Am I am a big Tyrod critic.

He’s been pretty good this year outside of our two losses

I think a great way to look at this is can you replace him for 5+2=7 mil over 2 years.... and the answer right now is a resounding yes. After next year we save 47 mil... huge win for us.

Not to mention he is one more mistake from sitting out an entire year. And let’s be honest would you trust that he stays clean for the next year in a city like Jacksonville, when he couldn’t even do it here?

- gordong

Don’t get me wrong...
I’m totally ok that we traded him

Just sucks we couldn’t get more for such a high draft pick
Disappointing, but it was time to move on

Sure...
obviously not turning it over is great
That doesn’t put points on the board though either

The offense in inconsistent at best

Having a QB average less than 200yds passing in today’s nfl just doesn’t get us where we wanna go
And the 29yds a game he averaged rushing isn’t nearly close enough to make up for the lack of passing

Even with his rushing added in,
Tyrod is not in the top20 in total yards for QBs

Unless our offense can consistently score more points...
I doubt we can keep that leg up that we have on some of those teams

Can’t expect the defense to keep bailing us out
Tyrod AND the rest of the offense are gonna have to play better if we wanna break this playoff drought streak

BIG game for us Sunday

I agree it’s an IF. I just think this year the AFC is sooo damn weak.

I think we can split with NE.

Yeah, I agree
But we gotta win 6 more games
That’s tough to do depending on the defense to setup our subpar offense
And when they do...
we usually get FGs

Beating the Pats, or any team with a very good offense will be tough for us
Sure, it’s possoble if the defense holds them to 20pts or less
But then we also have to score more than 20

We definitely have a chance...
but to actually get to the Playoffs,
the offense will have to be better

See my post about the youngins ..... I rather talk about them... but

Lehner... eh one year who cares, he’s the best we have right now, and it not even close.
Okposo don’t care if he is a power forward but he’s no good if he doesn’t score.... I’m getting concerned.

Who is this Dan & Tim you speak of?

- gordong

I just put the most said hockey related things.

I like Lehner, on a good team with competent defense he's all you need.

The Okposo stuff was from a few Isles fans after he signed here. They said he's not a power forward and he falls all the time. I saw him fall on his own for the first time last game. Cam Neely he's not, but he's strong on his skates and can bull his way through back checkers with relative ease. I just hope he can regain form from whatever it was that was/is really wrong with him.

And he wasn't the reason for the losses. Sure had he thrown a better ball maybe Jones makes the catch, but everything we've seen of him, probably not. But he's a rookie and the NFL is really hard on rookie receivers from small schools. He didn't forget how to catch in 5 months. I'd rather have him have issues with that then with not grasping the offense or zero chemistry with Tyrod not that there seems to be a lot, but they're not fighting on the sidelines.

That throw / dropped pass aside...
Tyrod was still the QB in the Carolina game who did pretty much nothing all game up to that point (Only 125yds passing)

And he didn’t play well against Cinci either (166yds passing all game)

How many games did Tyrod “win” this year?

The only ones I’d say he played “good” in are the Denver game when he was 20-26, & this past week where he drove us down to tie & then win it, and had his season high in passing yds at 268

Isn’t it kinda sad that we say his best game is at 268yds passing?
There’s just no way getting around him being a below average passer

taylor had a qb rating of 92 or higher in each of the 4 wins

he is 12th in the nfl in overall qb rating

only alex smith has turned the ball over less then tyrod

Didn’t even know there is a game today. I feel shame, but my day just got a lot better.

EDIT: Johnson confirmed : 4.06GAA and sub9 SV%. My day is trending down.

It’s just my general sports app, so not official confirmed, but “confirmed” nonetheless.

It is kinda unexpected.
