The puck was still moving. When it comes to a stop, its in his glove, behind the line. This completes the play.

It was obviously in lol... He said play was complete so I'm assuming it just didn't go in until after the whistle or as he was blowing the whistle. Who know. (frank) them |

It's all about the intent to blow the whistle there. I can live with that. The previous disallowed goal bothers me. |

It doesn't matter if he blew the whistle already or he rules he was in the act of blowing the whistle. It's horse poop |

The "play was complete" was nonsense. Anderson didn't have it until it was in his glove... which was inside the net. |

its weak. intent to blow the whistle means he lost sight of the puck, which means he blew the play.....incompetence and its rampant among NHL officals
hahahah...Morganti just pointed out the puck was still moving, hes reading my posts |

By rule the ref is supposed to blow the whistle when he loses sight of the puck. I don't know how you say he blew the play. Pretty much impossible from the ice to know where the puck was in that situation. If we didn't have the overhead view we wouldn't even know where it was. The puck moving doesn't matter if the ref lost sight of the puck. It sucks because it was in the net. I have more issue with the other disallowed goal even though that was very close. |

Looking at the 2 no goals and the Gudas Major..
The Gudas Major I just dont see ..Maybe a 2 min charge but I know they are trying to take physical play out of the game in favor of skill.
The "play was complete" no goal..If you go by the rules then it makes sense that the ref lost site of the puck and blew it dead. HEll we needed a special view to see it.
The goalie interference is one of the worst calls I have seen. Honestly..I get tryhing to protect the goalies but joke is league is a joke. |

Flyers did not play well in 1st period, but deserved at least a point tonight. NHL took it away from them. Somewhere, Ed Snider is boiling. |

I have to agree with Haxstol on the disallowed goals. The first one was a judgement call. The flyer player was in the crease. He did bump the goalie. I can understand that call The second went in the net clearly. The play was not complete. It was a goal. |
