If Middlestadt becomes an excellent center, I’d explore moving O’Reilly for a Seth Jones type player if a team has a glut of them.

It’s usually a Weber for Subban, or Johansson for Jones

Also for a team like Arizona is would be like Reinhart Nylander and a first plus to even think about trading OEL.

But Arizona is a team that needs to make a move like that to build a real team IMO.

I’m sure they could get a better package for OEL I’m just saying for them to really get better that’s what they need to do IMO.

He looks no better or worse this year. Just not piggy backing points off the PP or Jack. Creates so little on his own.

Agreed. Top 6 winger on this team. Top 9 winger on a contender. Don't like him at center. He'll end up with 45ish points this year. Took him a couple of months to get going the past 2 seasons as well. That play with Erickson in the corner late in the game tonight was brutal, but you could see it coming as he skated into the corner with the puck.

Sam is a decent player, just a helluva mediocre top pick

Bc it’s probably easier to acquire Price than it is to acquire a “#1” defenseman

Price can make a decent defense look pretty damn good

And I’d want Mtl to keep some of his contract in any deal

Also needs time to acclimate himself to it. He needs to be faster and just react . He might be thinking too much . He had a better game tonight than what we have seen so far .Maybe someone tapped him on the ass.
