You say this like it's laughable and he won't be heavily considered.

Trading Subban wasn't a mistake.

How do you know at this point, that trading Sergachev was a mistake?

- hscesq

I'm not saying trading Subban away was a mistake but what you traded him for was.

Sergachev is going to be a top D man. Good Defenceman are worth more than a top forward. Sergachev already has more points as a defenceman then anyone on your team. The Habs should have kept him.

no, it was funny becasue Martin Lemay asked and the immediate answer from McKenna was "no".

Lemay followed up saying what's the difference between Shanahan and McKenna and McKenna skated around for 10 minutes trying not to say "he's french"

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.

I award you no points, and may god have mercy on your soul.

What was wrong with the return on Subban?

As for Sergachev, you can already tell, because he has more points in less than 10 games, than anyone on the Habs, that trading him was a mistake.

You're a classic, my boy.

Team almost eliminated from playoffs contention, and October hasn't even ended yet. It's incredible.

I also think it would be a mistake but it's obvious the guy doesn't want to play here anymore. Might as well get someone who does.
- BashCH

I think the reason maybe he feels like that is how he is being treated. Your coach makes this guy the scrape goat. Why not put Pacoretti on the 4th line? This coach is ruining this kid and I would love to have him on my team. All I'm saying is I think he will be traded away because your GM will be in panic mode soon. I feel it will be a mistake.

Agreed, subban was a virus on the team and caused distractions in the locker room, wasnt a team player and always tried to be to flashy on the ice and ended up giving the puck away in his own zone a lot and never took responsibility. Weber as a bad contract like subban but id take him on my team everytime. Much like why weber is selected for every team canada and pk isnt even a consideration after the one time he did kindoff play with them. As for sergachev youll need to give that a couple years as you said but personally I hope it was a bad trade. As for galchenyuk if you can get any trade value for him let him go quickly. But honestly as I just posted he gets you a 5th or 6th round pick or possibly another player who was a high pick but has been a bust in recent years in a swap. He doesnt get you kreider and zucerello or duchene as most habs fan think he's worth. Wake up and smell tge coffee!

Weber is older and not a puck moving defenseman like Pk. I think Pk fits the bill more when it comes to today's game. The logic in the move was that mtl was supposed to be better short term. How did that work out?

Agree on Sergachev. He's playing for Tampa wich is boosting his stats. +, imagine this team offense without Drouin.

I think in trading Subban you traded a guy away in his prime for a guy who is past his prime. This trade will look worse as time goes on. Webber just don't fit at his age with the speed game every one is going to.o.

Montreal should have done what Colorado is trying to do with Duchene for examample. You should have gotten a first rnd pick, a solid prospect and a good forward (D man) for Subban. just my opinion.
