Don't know what people were expecting exactly. Self-flagellation?

But if he had to, he'd do it all over again without changing a thing.

Guy really knows how to admit his (frank) ups.

I do agree with him that Streit, Hemsky and Morrow people make too big of a deal about them.

He said he would do moves like that again.

However, the issue is not resigning Markov or Radulov.

I joked around the subject here, but I don't think it had any reach or caused any harm. But this is serious stuff. Hopefully he can turn things around.

Well, if any good comes of this, we won't see that (frank)head Trembley anymore.

If Markov wanted 6mx2 he can go f' himself.

Now MB matching Dallas' offer after Radulov agreed to it, that's just plain mismanagement.

I would love it for him to be sued!

If it's a true story, he has to give up his source but I'm sure that person would purger themselves if there's no hard evidence and it was only hearsay..

Or if it's false, he would be guilty and likely lose his job.

As it stands, I'm wondering how the Habs front office and NHL are handling this. How can they punish RDS, La Presse and other media paying Tremblay.
Can they stop their press passes?

According to sources, he only wanted 1 year at 6mil.

Bergevin offered something like 4.25 + 1 mil in bonus structure...

I would assume Galchenyuk would want this behind him, not dragged through the courts.

As for Trembley, there's no way a journalist (dare I call that dumb female genitalia a journalist?) should air something like that, true or false.

good evening Pete,

for MB to match Dallas offer, he would had to add 1M per, because of the income taxes. I'm not ready to give Radulov 5x7.2M sorry. He has 4 points in 9 games playing with Seguin and Benn...with 5 years left on his deal.

as for Markov, at the end of the day, the player decides where he wants to play. same with Radulov btw. Markov is getting old and the game is getting faster by the day. time to move on. the problem imo is that MB didn't sign (or trade for) an offensive dman to replace him.

Yes good evening fido.

Here's what Radulov said

He said Montreal made a similar offer after he agreed to terms with Dallas but wasn't going to go back on the contract, which has an average annual value of $6.25 million.

The tax thing is bs and speculation after the fact that MB didn't get the job done.

As for Markov, if the offer WAS 4.2 + 1 in bonuses, that puts them potentially at .8 apart.

Then he throws 2 at Streit and Hemsky..

Need I go on?

Also, he coulda had Yakupov for less than Hemsky.

Him dummy..

Well depends who you believe. MB said he offered 5x6.25 before DAL did.
except that for Radulov, the DAL offer is better for him, it gives him more in his pocket after taxes. now if you don't believe that, go check you're paystub.
so he signed with DAL, and that's perfectly fine imo.

as for Streit, he's already gone.

Am I happy with MB' work this summer? not at all. he had 2 jobs: 1 find a top 6 forward (to replace Radulov) and 2 find a dman to play with Weber (to replace Markov). he failed on both. he's very lucky Mete is saving his ass right now. and if you say Drouin replaces Radulov, that doesn't change a thing, MB would then need to find another forward, otherwise it's statu quo. no improvement.

I understand why both these players (Radulov and Markov) are not back, and I'm ok with it, but MB needed to replace them! He didn't and is sitting on 8.5M. for that, he should be fired.
and then today he tells us he's satisfied why the moves he made this summer, that he would do it again. well for that he should be fired again! just to be sure, for good mesures.
