Please point out to what is factually incorrect in that statement.

I'll wait.

They played excellent, even though they got like 2 shifts in the first period.
They only got 4 faceoffs. McCarron took the draws, went 2/4.

Galchenyuk was alway the first men back and played center for the most part in the D zone.

Scherbak was in nice position, got some nice takeaways.

McCarron took the body finishing with 5 hits.

I think they could have created much more if the D could give better outlet passes. Always behind, or full speed passes from 10" away making it impossible to receive.

Dave Poulin is the new color commentator on the TSN Habs broadcasts, which is the feed I got here. He kept making the point that the Habs outlet passes were off the mark and too long most of the time. When they went with short, quick passes, they were successful. He's boring as hell, but he made some very good points throughout.

I was impressed with that lines ability to get pucks deep and pressure the D. They did a good job.

Your comment is one of a typical Habs fan. The guy finally scores, it was NOT an EN goals as most assumed it would be, and you STILL complain.

at one point he referred to Carey Price as C.P.Thirty-one which angered me to the point where I walked out of the house and murdered my neighbor.

I agree, McCarron still looks slow with those two on his line but I like his positionning

But ya, he scored a goal then the game was out of reach for the Panthers. It doesn't excuse his poopty 50minute contribution prior to the pointless goal.

Then again, we can female dog about him not producing on the PP, getting too much Icetime, creating turnovers, not hitting, etc..

Yet it's Claude putting him out there game after game.

Point is, he scored a goal for the first time in a long time. Could get him going, which is what the team needs.
