Thank you Reimer - Symba.007
Just took a goalie that the Habs have had his number for a while.
Maybe they can get Bernier in net against the Avs.

So with a 5 goal game last night, the Canadiens are no longer the least scoring team in the NHL..
The Oilers now hold this title.
Weren't they suppose to be cup contenders with McJesus? |

With Draisatl injured they just noticed that they have absolutely no depth. |

IF they can get a second, somewhat convincing, win I hope it fully snaps them out of whatever funk they are in. Finally seeing Weber score was nice too.
Mete going to stick around? Thats 9 games for him. If he does then I guess its a pretty clear sign that management legit believes they will still make the playoffs. |

Its not that I think they have no chance, its just that the recent history of this team is to start out super strong then hold on for dear life to make the playoffs. Starting off in a 16 point hole is pretty unsettling, no? |

Nothing wrong with trying something different. Adversity can sometimes lead to success.
BTW, I was very impressed with #38 last night as well. Some very smart plays out there. |

They played excellent, even though they got like 2 shifts in the first period.
They only got 4 faceoffs. McCarron took the draws, went 2/4.
Galchenyuk was alway the first men back and played center for the most part in the D zone.
Scherbak was in nice position, got some nice takeaways.
McCarron took the body finishing with 5 hits.
I think they could have created much more if the D could give better outlet passes. Always behind, or full speed passes from 10" away making it impossible to receive. |
