Team almost eliminated from playoffs contention, and October hasn't even ended yet. It's incredible.

i gotta say the timing is good. Leafs are getting really good but at least the Habs are becoming bad enough that we'll all stop paying attention to hockey by December.

So, now the kid wants a PS4. Likes the XBox, but no MLB. Birthday Sunday. Any suggestions re 500 vs. 1TB? He doesn't play many non-sports games. Does the thin console have any effect on anything?

500 should be enough for him.

1TB is for people who use their console as computers...download movies on them, download games, etc.

Hello Howard.

I'd suggest going for the regular PS4. Despite the "pro" version being able to bring in 4k visuals, only a handful of games (and TV's) are actually capable of showing such a resolution.

If you watch diffrent videos online, the difference between the "pro" version and the regular PS4 is minimal... you wouldn't even notice, except for the price which is about 120$ more

As for the differene in size of the harddrive, it really depends if A) your Son will own alot of different video games and most importantly B) Will he buy physical versions of his game or digital.

If he only buys digital version of games and he intends to download let's say... more than 10, I suggest going with the 1TB since some games can easily take over 50gig of space nowadays.... so going to 500 is pretty fast.

If I had to buy a PS4 today, I'd get the 1TB non-pro version, for around 379,99$ instead of the pro version 1TB that will cost you over 500$.

If you have more questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Thank you very much for the info.

Believe the games will be bought in disc form more than in digital form.

It appears that $299 (USD) is the going rate for the 500. Then would need a second controller and a game or two to get started. That seem about right?

I think Larry Brooks suggested the Rangers should trade Kreider/Zuccarello to the Habs for Galchenyuk.

A real power forward like Kreider maybe could help the team...

- BashCH

I think Gaalchenyuk will be traded but you will sorry you traded him away shortly after. Like Subban and Sergachev (sp) trading galchenyuk will be a mistake.

Your best assets have been traded away, don't keep repeating the mistakes. however I think Bergeron trying to save his job will trade more kids trying to right the ship now. No one wants what he would like to trade away.
