Pretty Average??? The Knights have started really slow this year. I have been to two games and he has been flying around the ice . I think you got a really good one . Kid has been the class of the team. Have you seen any of his games ? He came back fired up after his camp in Buffalo.

No offense intended here, but what experience do you draw from?

Typically, as one moves through their career, they tend to develop contacts and "know people" because they have worked with them and experienced success.

Do internships, when your peers are working 8 hours, put in 10. Build your resume, if your current employer won't pay you for the experience someone else will.

Take it from a guy that started on a receiving dock after the Army, worked his butt off, got a chance in another role and shined.

I was promoted three times before I took one class in college.

Perseverance, a necessary skill, not taught in school. Tested yes, but not taught.

Just don't start your career admitting defeat. Weak people blame others. I don't care what someone puts in my way, I'm going to succeed.

Not PC in any way anymore but, nut up.

he started decreasing his point total from start to finish being the playoffs

I was thinking he was playing injured but maybe it was just fatigue

She knows her professors and her career services advisor. She has a paid internship for next summer outside DC in the collateral auditing division of a multinational bank.

No shrink wrap on her car though.

He does not have that great of talent around him . Or do you just look at stat sheets and think you know all from that ?

What's sad is all I did was self fund my partying for my 20's. Mid 20's I got my first promotion. Once I got married and had kids, then realized that you actually had to feed them more than once a day, I realized I should get serious about life and really try.

I found that when I didn't blame other people or try to find the "boogeyman" that was holding me back a weird thing happened, I moved forward.
