I wouldn't say he's our best D man. I would save that term for Tanev. He's our best left sided D man. I would also say the team is better with Edler. The team is also better when the younger players play better.

A 1st left side, a 2nd right side, and a 3rd left side are up for grabs. The younger players need to start showing they are capable of filling those roles on a regular basis. If not then through the draft or free agency.
