If someone have watched the Habs games that Price contract look so bad now |

I presume tonight will be one of the few home games Sens have that will be sold out. Filled with the Blue and White - LeafGuy89
Come on in! Focusing on attendance seems silly, it's a small market crammed between two original-6 powerhouses. |

Sens are a very underrated team.
I think this is because of all the comedy around their franchise and the fact that everyone (except Spaz-Doops) knows that last year's playoff run was largely because of injuries to their opponents and a lot of puck luck on their part.
But, they are a good team. When everything is clicking, they can beat anyone in the league. They have the best Dman in the league, a goalie who can stone teams at times and a couple very good forwards
They don't look to be deep enough at either forward or defense to be a real contender over the long haul and they are very much in "win now" mode. - Aetherial
Mostly fair assessment, expect for the luck part. Every team requires some luck in the postseason. I think they just bought into Boucher's system in close games especially. Don't forget they offered the Pens their most difficult resistance.
I'd be willing to spot Matthews another 4 (Holy Nostrils what a stud ), as long as the Sens take the W. |

Sorry, tons of luck went your way. Only Sens fans can't see it.

Can't take away the fact that the team works hard as a whole...they keep coming - pain in the ass rarely take a shift off team. |

Or they made a lot of their own luck. And some opposing fans can't accept that. S'okay, we'll agree to disagree. |

definitely the most structured "blue collar" team. its the only way they can play and have any success. its actually quite impressive.
boucher deserves a ton of credit. |

You should go talk to Spatso and D'oops.
They also think Leafs fans can't accept the Sens almost getting into a position to almost win something.
and coming away with the coveted 28th overall pick.

they play their system and are patient for their chances..
but they have very litle in terms of talent. Karlsson and thats about it.. Hoffman/Stone are a threat. |

I don't take anything away from them.
If people think they were the 3rd or 4th best team last year, then they weren't paying attention to what was happening

True, almost like they've become the new Devils. And the Devils are now ... holy crap, who are they? |

Stone is one of the better two way players in the game. Also when Anderson is on he's a very good goalie. |

When he scores goal number 5 in August it's going to be special. |

So, would you call it 3rd or 4th most successful?
Every Stanley Cup team needs some luck. A lot has to go right.
We all know hard work can even the score if the opposing team has more elite talent...but, frank them, right? |
