At some point, you need more than just trying hard, and frankly Hyman isn't winning any puck battles, Matthews and Nylander are. He is contributing nothing at this point, in fact, he is holding Matthews and Nylander back.

Carrick has been terrible..

I do like Borgman tho. I really think he needs to throw some more bone crushing hits. Make teams aware that he's one the ice and be a little more hesitant to put their heads down to make a play.

They looked psyched out to be honest, as if Babcock warned them what Ottawa would do and then when they got behind, it is like they just got scared to make a mistake.

Then they spend the whole 3rd period pinching Dmen and pressing way too hard.

Ottawa will destroy teams that play like that.
