Oh boys is it a good time to be a Leaf fan! It is the complete opposite of everything we have been used too! Leafs rock, Habs suck! I am looking forward to the next 10 years of Leafs domination and Habs mediocrity. With Price they will never be bad enough to do a proper Matthews-esque tank job. Just good enough to middle through seasons.

And man, do I ever want to beat Ottawa tonight... Surprisingly a few Ottawa fans here at work and they're beaking off a lot today... They're riding the Karlsson training pretty hard...

Agreed. Didn't see Sens as a playoff team this year, but with Montreal sucking they could squeeze in. Boucher is one of the best coaches in the NHL - they've allowed only 16 goals in 7 games (2.29) while Leafs have scored 34 (4.86) Something has gotta give. |

Agreed. Didn't see Sens as a playoff team this year, but with Montreal sucking they could squeeze in. Boucher is one of the best coaches in the NHL - they've allowed only 16 goals in 7 games (2.29) while Leafs have scored 34 (4.86) Something has gotta give.

Sens are a very underrated team.
I think this is because of all the comedy around their franchise and the fact that everyone (except Spaz-Doops) knows that last year's playoff run was largely because of injuries to their opponents and a lot of puck luck on their part.
But, they are a good team. When everything is clicking, they can beat anyone in the league. They have the best Dman in the league, a goalie who can stone teams at times and a couple very good forwards
They don't look to be deep enough at either forward or defense to be a real contender over the long haul and they are very much in "win now" mode.
