We all know the Wings are in cap hell. Most Wing fans are on Holland for overpaying/contract lengths, especially players they have drafted/developed. In this case, he didn't. That's my point in regards to Holland in this situation.

If the Wings could somehow rid themselves of Ericsson and Helm with their contracts...

You guys got a solid bottom 6 player with some possible potential. Good trade for both clubs...neither player is currently getting the proper playing time or in the right situation to succeed.

Wilson's a real blue collar player with some flashes of white collar. He is a hard working player that can flash some skill from time to time.

With us pretty loaded at wing and Daniel Sprong coming up by the end of 2017, it was only a question of who was getting traded and when.
