Jack & Pommer might need the speed & physicality if someone like Kane, Girgs, Bailey, etc to make that line work

Whether that’s Girgs on Jack’s line (which was fine, just not ideal),
or Tennyson in the lineup at all,
or Risto playing more minutes than anyone else in the whole NHL (idk if that’s accurate, but a friend said that. Regardless, he needs to play LESS)

There’s things than can be done to help the current team we have without blowing it all up

A few smart moves can really go a long way

We also failed to put guys around them though
Not that the group would’ve won us a Cup,
but that core was good enough that we should’ve been a playoff team every year instead of 2 of 6 years

The “dead weight” is providing absolutely ZERO support for these guys

Jack, Sam, O’Reilly, Okposo, Kane & Pommer can all score 20+ goals...
but if the rest of the team only combines for 20goals TOTAL...
well then,
we are gonna keep losing A LOT of games

We have a wishful /hopeful core at the moment . Could be broken up at any minute .
