All these guys are talented. Just need to jell together. Line shifts have been nuts.

Anyone but Eichel, Middlestadt and Guhle should be available in discussion

All starts at the top. Get a good President, GM, Assistant GM, Head Coach, Assistant Coach, Amerks GM, Amerks Coach, Scouts etc etc.

Pegula should be spending his money on good people who can run a hockey club.

From the outside, that seems to be lacking.

That's why I put the caveat on there.

We need to consider that the problem might be Pegula himself creating a hostile, uncomfortable and toxic environment.

And there’s still work to be done...

Things I think we can do without major moves include:

Nylander up, playing 3rd line over Pouliot
Baptiste up, playing 3rd line (or even 2nd & move down Okposo) over Griffith

Those are no brainers IMO

How’s Guhle look?
He’s gotta be better than Tennyson, right?

Does ANYONE disagree with any of those moves?

I think that’s where we should start

- jdfitz77

Is Nylander even playing yet? I think that's premature. Baptiste maybe.

I'd agree on Guhle over Tennyson, but if the Sabres are going to be this bad throughout the year and NOT turn a corner in say December, I want Guhle the heck away from this nonsense.

The one that matters. The GM. So far anyway.

They hired Botterill, I think he needs a little time before we pronounce him as not capable.

But, if you're Kane and you see these lazy players here, some long term, do you sign? That's why he has to be traded if they don't start turning this around in about a month.
- gcomella34

The return will be minimal with Kane because he is a rental unfortunately

Scandella-Vatanen
Guhle-Bogo
McCabe-Antipin

- homiedclown

I still see the 3rd line not scoring
And Guhle should be here over Tennyson for sure

Vatanen over Risto?
Let’s say I agree...
but we still need to ADD to the defense
What I’m trying to say,
keep Risto & find a way to bring in Vatanen as well
Then the defense gets better!

I agree, but we get nothing if he doesn't sign. If he doesn't sign, trade him.

Edit: We could use any asset in HOPES that it pans out right now.

Or, I actually know someone who works for the Sabres (I do) to some capacity and while rumors might not be slipping my way, work conditions are and the entirety of Harbor center is a hostile, hyper-competitive environment from the ground-up.

Well I guess I’d say that these guys can help prevent us from being this sh!tty still in December
If Nylander isn’t ready,
bring up Rodrigues or Fasching

In fairness he says that when he's sober as well. After (presumably) never meeting the man, when you bring up Pegulas name, his reaction resembles Warren after someone messes with his ear muffs.

That's hard for me to really say is a bad environment, in business the point is to be the best, most environments I'm in are hyper-competitive. Operations Management...the turnover is UNREAL.

Ok... how so?
What kind of examples can u give that would lead to better play from Tennyson or Okposo or whoever?

I’m being serious & giving u a chance to back your point up here

Go.
