A hasek in his prime was worth that, i remember in 1999 when he carried a crappy sabres team to within 2 games of the Stanley Cup. Weird positionally but did the crazy saves.

Everyone in here (frank)ing knows MB (frank)ing sucks. He's (frank)ed this team up.
But the fact remains that Sergachev plays 10 minutes/game and has Steven (frank)ing Stamkos and Kuchurov on his team.

Hes actually been criticized for being lost often. Before his 2 goal game, people were thinking that he might get sent down.

Hes an unproven 19yo with tons of potential, thats it.

You have as much proof on Drouin being elite talent as I do with Sergachev. But I'd rather have that big talented kid over the small petulant poop.

Drouin is a gamer and a hometown guy with lots of talent, the Habs needed a guy like this. A grade A prospect was the price to pay to acquire him. I'd make that deal 100 time out of 100, regardless of the outcome, it was the smart and logical thing to do.

He only played eith Kooch on the PP.

It makes sense because they needed that talent up front. They also probably liked mete as a puck mover and Juulsen as a shutdown guy.

Sergachev has great potential to be both, but lets not act like he was a 1st overall and that all 1st round Ds turn into superstars..

Actually it seems more like the 2nd to 6th round pick Ds that become hallofamers
