Miller turned out to be a good short term signing regardless of how bad the Canucks were... Lack and Markstrom were never going give anyone chances to win most nights and the circus would have been out of control.

Are you serious?? if a team gets a coaches challenge wrong they get a penalty.

New role for the offside challenge. Was used way too often and delayed the game a lot. Plus all those on ice calls stoping entry can't be reviewed so hey balances out.

See how it works to punish a 50 50 call. Amazed though it went for Canucks because it was a great play and set up by JV and decent finish by Sedins.

Clearly Virtanen was offsides though, I'd love to have had the refs explain why it was a good goal. The only explaination I can think of is that they couldn't tell definitely when he had control of the puck and therefore it's too inconclusive to overturn the play.
