How do you guys feel about the Canucks so far? playing .500 is probably better than what you guys expected but are you seeing that as a good thing or an ultimately self-defeating thing.

Boeser playing at a ppg pace has to be positive, but did you think maybe Horvat would look better? (I have him in a pool)

Honest answer, I think most thought the team are right where they should be. Management brought in some players that should have improved the team. The younger players are all a bit older. BB has not slowed down yet. Goaltending is an issue. The team still needs a top end forward and defender.

In a draft year with a stronger draft class, most wish to fall down the standings near the end of the season.

Ended the season 2-12 last year and dropped 6 spots. Still lots of time to tank.

Cull has Goldy playing PP and PK. Hopefully the PK part is helping him out on learning where and how to play in the defensive zone. Seems to be what is holding him back from being an effective NHL player.

I think, for what it's worth, they're going to have stretches of some good some bad but over an 82 game schedule they're gonna be near the bottom because every year they suffer a long losing streak and they've intentionally tanked after the TDL two years running. Hopefully three!

Will tanking after the deadline be harder this year because we have better depth? Last season there was no depth before the season started. Now our depth is younger more talented players playing hockey at a higher level.
