Because my team is in that division I'm not able to admit it's the weakest division? Whoops...
One could argue the Pacific could be the worst division I suppose.. |

Falling for Dahlin. Then there is Pray for Andrei. - tomburton99
Svechnikov > Dahlin
Andrei is better than Hischier, MacKinnon, Yakupov, RNH, Hall, Kane, Nash, and Kovalchuk. He's in the tier below Crosby/Ovechkin and McDavid (the one with Matthews, Tavares, and Stamkos).
Rasmus is not as good as Aaron Ekblad was at 18. I don't see why he'd go #1. |

This blog isn't about the Carolina Hurricanes. - Scabeh
No, But Druin, Weber, Price aside, you guys look like your competing for a Calder. And the team ain't young. Berge will panic and make a move, hopefully it works for you guys bc hockey in Canada supports a solid chunk of the sport |

Its been time to panic since price got injured two years ago and the team showed its true colours. Price doesnt stand on his head every night this is probably the worst team in hockey. Price in his prime gives you a chance every night. Montreal would have been a lot better off to trade price in the off season to an actual contender. They could have gotten a 1st round pick a decent roster player and a couple nice prospects. With the current contract theres no one going to take him unless your taking back another bad contract. Its the same as you did with pk, sign him to a bad contract that no one wants and the only option to get the virus known as pk out of the locker room is take on equally as bad of a contract. All price does now for the next few years is prevent you from getting top shots at high draft picks, he puts you in limbo. You cant win a cup with that line up, your top forward is the odd man out of a team that felt they had another 3 or 4 forwards that were better then him and showed a hell of a lot more character. Although habs fan seem to think hes the 2nd coming of maurice richard now.
I got a little off track! Basically montreal is a bad team and expect it to continue. Theres only one chance they make the playoffs and thats price playing like roy in 1993 playoffs. But even if that happens chances are Price goes back to his old ways of slipping in the playoffs and this team doesnt have the talent to bail him out. |
