Anyone thought about the possibility of Moore on the third line. .fehr on the fourth essentially having defensive guys in the middle. .and putting scoring wingers between them..I'd like the idea of Martin coming in as the 13th forward maybe for special occasions? ..but couldn't possibly rychel do somewhat of the same job..at what 650.000 a season? Also Altonen all most made the team! ..maybe give him a try on the third? ..saying goodbye to bozzy. .and eventually jvr..both are free agents. .so not getting any dman of significance for them alone! .. just trade them for picks/prospects. .cap savings for the deadline possibly?

I think any moves that change the DNA of the current lineup significantly will be done in the offseason, unless the Leafs crash and burn going into deadline and want to get some assets for the upcoming draft.

If the leafs are anywhere near the top of the league come deadline I doubt bozy or jvr get moved. Leafs have very little depth offensively at center outside of their top 3 and neither kapanen or Leivo are potential 30 goal 60pt guys right now.
