I'm not sure what to tell you 7? The way the Isles have developed prospects backs up my argument. You may think all is well now that Cappy is gone, but that's not the case.

Doug Weight and the islanders are so legit I trust everything they do including developing prospects. I mean their record speaks for itself.

It's bizarre Cpt. Cappy sat kids in the pressbox and it was riot city and no issue when Doug does it? I see very little pushback with Beau sitting for 3 games. This is the same old approach from the Isles.

There's more kids thst they have no choice but to play for obvious reasons. 7 D 11 forwards. Defenseman playing in random pairings the entire game . Obvious recipe for success. Mind blowing stupidity

I'm not looking for Doug to be fired already, but I cannot see how anyone thinks he is doing a good job and cannot be questioned? Doug is making some head scratching moves and his system looks no different than Cappy's. Doug's #1 priority should have been to get a real non Cappy type system in place. He could not implement one last year taking over late so what is the excuse now?

But what does that mean? Does that mean its the right decision? Seriously man what the (frank) is wrong with you? The kid who is one of our better prospects is sitting in the stands for 6 games straight and say when is he going to play and you lose your (frank)ing mind talking about slap shots and bs bs bs. Who (frank)ing cares? Get a grip bud. Jesus. I think a prospect should actually play and take his lumps like Ho Sang did tonight. You don't fine. I have no faith in the islanders developing their prospects properly for obvious reasons and you obviously disagree. Big (frank)ing deal. You think Doug Weight makes sound coaching decisions obviously judging from this post I'm replying too. I do not. Again, big (frank)ing deal. I think Doug Weight is Jack Capuano you think he makes sound decisions. I do not. Move on fight with someone else and while you're at it learn how to spell you big company owner person. You're so awesome.

Tbh I think they are playing harder for him and are close to turning a corner. Are there still issues? You bet with that said this team has more talant and they are still a 3 or wc playoff team. Also as an aside barzal has looked the best so far to me. He creates play off the rush and can dish, add to that he's pretty reliable defensively and he's a very solid player

I'm not sure about the playing hard part? At least not the entire game. I do not get the sense they are close to turning a corner. Barzal looks real good, but he needs much better wingers and he needs shooters.

I hope they turn the corner but I'm not seeing what you're saying for the most part. Barzal is the exception. He has been pretty damn good.

I should add that I was gassed tonight and couldn't really focus on the game. Saw 13 creating chances though. If the pp gets on track they will be fine.

Ladd and Bailey with Barzal will not cut it. I would put Barzal with Ho Sang and Beau if someone can free Beau from the pressbox.

His speed is incredible. Let's see how he competes when teams start really focusing on him defensively if he really starts putting up points. I like his compete so far hopefully he can keep it up.

Have to admit that little toe drag Bailey made was awesome. Didn't score but it was great. The rest of the game he was Bailey.

Others teams can get off to bad or slow starts but not the Isles. JT's play if one of the biggest concerns I have right now.

Fun game to watch, but you knew that comeback was on the way. They got outworked big time in the third.

If this is what we can expect from Barzal regularly once he adjusts then we've got a pretty damn good player.

Once they sort the 7D thing out, they should get Beau back in the lineup. If for no other reason, I think they could use a bit more speed on the wings.

Pulock looked nervous, for obvious reasons, but I don't think he looked horribly out of place or anything.

I still didn't see anything terribly wrong with Pelech!
