the goaltender interference noncall was a joke as well. How that ever counted is a mystery to me. Even if the shove isn't overt comeau knew what he was doing and took bortuzzo's ice away.

So in the end it evened itself out but how three refs miss that obvious of an off sides is a joke. the refs can call an offsides even without the linesman. those refs sucked period. but what's new? entertainment trumps the spirit of the game as was the case in Chicago. Schwartz might have blown an edge after being slashed and hooked first. then before the empty netter the amount of slashing and hooking by the hawks no calls why how? because it turned a domination into a game that drives ratings.
