While we do have some head scratching d breakdowns and our PK does struggle which doesn't help with all these penalties, if we can cut those down we could be a good team all season, work to do but they are looking better than I expected

Yes we have played some back ups but we have played some strong teams and found ways to win which is promising, and came back against a sense team that knows how to shut things down

This team is definitely not as good as their record but they are as fun as their record.

This 1000%. I’m thrilled to have a fun team to watch. But the defense is sloppy, way too many penalties and the PK is not good. As the year progresses and teams continue to tighten up, it’s going to look very different.

I can even handle the sloppy D at times based on who we have, but the amount of penalties we take needs to be addressed fast.

The Sens played a tough game, they are a great team. Karlsson is fun to watch. Imagine him and Big Buff as our 1-2 D men.

Santini's give away was amazing also.

Everyone is making stupid mistakes which is fine as long as they learn. Severson will either step up and prove his worth or not and be revealed as a 3/4 D man.

Some head scratching D maneuvers were pretty expected coming into this year. I am glad they are learning when we are winning.

He hasn’t been great but he’s still a young kid learning the toughest job for a kid. Seems like when he gets a couple good plays/points he is able to ride the wave a bit. I think he just needs to find some consistent confidence which probably just comes with age and experience and he’ll be alright.

If this team can stay in the playoff race until Zajac and Boyle are both back I think we can have a decent shot at snagging a playoff spot. Boy could we use one solid D-man to take that Prout/Lovejoy/Mueller spot.

Agree. Zajac will be an immediate upgrade for the PK which will help. And While we could use a bunch of great D, even just one really good one would drastically improve our back end.

Since I’m constantly saying where I think the team needs to improve, I will say I love seeing the guys stick up for each other this year. It’s enough to know they give a crap but not overboard where it happens on every clean hit. So big time thumbs up on that.
