Wait a minute.
He plays for Tampa, they miss the playoffs.
He plays for the Habs, they miss the playoffs.
COULD HE BE THE PROBLEM GUYZZZ?! - Scabeh
They haven't missed the playoffs yet...

I think Weber is very moveable.... he's too good not to gather interest.
As for Price.... despite all his talent.... you'd need a team pretty desperate for goaltending to take on this contract.
So...
He's going to Winnipeg? |

If the season gets cancelled, everyone misses the playoffs. So the Habs would miss.
Your argument is invalid. |

Speaking of ice-time,
WTF is with the first PP line getting 50 seconds of Icetime but Hemsky is there till after the PP is over.... |

Flyers, Calgary, Winnipeg. I guess they won't trade him in the East, but meh. Maybe the Oilers panic with Talbot?
Weber will keep slowing down and keep the same cap hit. Maybe a team could bite, but like you said, it's a lot of money for Price.
Bergevin has to go. Same with Timmins and all the gang. |

It's going to be painful...jerseys thrown on ice, empty seats, beer sales going down, pitchfork mobs, Louis de Mercier losing his poop on radio... |

"Say your prayers and cross your fingers folks, the Habs need all the luck they can get."
Hope you're not praying Getzlaf is out for tomorrow night. I don't wish injuries on any player, regardless of team. With that being said, Montreal is facing the Ducks at the perfect time. Besides, Getzlaf, no Eaves and no Kase. Throw in Kesler, Vatanen, and Lindholm (who are still recovering from off season surgery) and the Ducks are decimated right now. Team is missing half of top 9F and 2 of their 4 top D.
If all are still out, you're facing a good AHL club. Be very worried if you do lose. - quackup
based on the above information....my prediction is 5-2 Ducks |

Subtraction by addition is clearly something that can happen with this team. |

Maybe but all the good teams sucked so hard before being any good. That's how you win now. |

I wouldn't be surprised if he winds up in Ottawa some day down the road. A player with a large cap hit but low actual salary, in the later years of his contract. |

When the team is valued at 1.2 billion, 2? coaches, soon 2? GMs on the payroll I think they can afford to suck. The fans are looking for direction, they will put up with a sucky team if there are flashes of brilliance by a young core. |

This.
The problem was always sucking without any indications that things would change or that it was part of a process.
If someone calmly said, "it's part of the plan", people would tag along. |
