I think the Leafs have more empty net goals so far this year than last year. Lol
- LeafMan

They also have a kid that can finish a game in OT. Love how these kids are coming along so quickly. True talent.

26 and 25 goals last two seasons, hard hitting player with speed, I'd say better than average.
- winsix

Kadri is an above average 2nd line centre, Schenn ain't.

Definitely Bix.

If Bozak goes, I don't want to split up Nylander and Matthews. Don't know who in the organization can take Bozaks place.

i like how everyone is getting the red line before having a go at the net

I like that the opposition has pulled the starting goalie in 3 of 7 games - that would be a nice record to set this season.

I think you're mixing the two brothers together man. Which might make a really good player.

fehr/moore 3rd and 4th lines. aaltonen in the ahl?

I think Bozak and JVR will find themselves on another team before this year is over. Just my opinion. I do feel this will be a special group for years to come, and it is finally fun to be a Leafs fan..

I think Aaltonen might be able to step in on a third line role.
Also why do they have Fehr and Moore?
And (frank) Blozak.

Aaltonen is the one I had in mind but don't know if he is ready, you need a centre with some offence on that line, maybe it's him.

That line doesn't take the toughest matchups anyways, they're used to clean up against the weaker defensive units. Pretty sheltered. Wouldn't be surprised to see it become something along the lines of Kapanen-Aaltonen-Marner.

Need a defensive upgrade more than JVR in the lineup, imo

Pittsburg is saying no you don't.
Give me all the offense, cause offense is the best defense.

Babcock is getting the team to focus on the defensive side of the game. The kids are so talented, the offense takes care of itself. but if you get the entire team playing good Team D...

You become an elite team.

on a serious not though, why is offense spelled with 2 f's and defense spelled with only 1?

I agree with this.

Started mathing a little the other day. The replacement winger: Leivo or Kap, only needs to get 15-20 goals and have a better +/- while the new D man stops a couple GA here or there and the goal differential improves dramatically.

Bottomline, the replacement doesn't have to be a 30g guy. 15-20g and better defensively will be much better for us...especially in the playoffs.

And the replacement doesn't get the clutch goal in that deciding 1 goal play off game, F that.
