i think if an opportunity arises during the year, they make a trade for a player with some term. la, nash, minn, ana, sj could all be looking to make a move for scoring and have dmen to trade.

if the price is too high, than yeah, add a green at the deadline.

Tampa has one advantage over the Leafs, their D core, yet they are letting in quite a few goals as well.

Tampa has never had what it takes, of all the teams the only 2 that worry me are Pittsburg and Columbus.

usually as you get to the 10-game mark, teams tighten up and goals start coming down across the league.

but with slashing disappearing, it seems like it is opening up the game for skilled players. so i don't know about this year.

much of tb's dcore may continue to struggle with the speed of the game.

it's a game shifting year.

Tampas got Hedman though. As much as people love to cream themselves over Karlsson, Hedman is a (frank)ing stud. If Karlsson missing half his foot slows him down, Hedman is easily my pick for best defenseman in the league.

It'll be a battle but the Leafs defintely hve more talent, unless the refs somehow decide to throw away the whistles in the playoffs I can't see Columbus over the Leafs.
But then again they threw away the whistles in the third period of game seven against the Bruins.

So far this season the best 2 that I've seen are Doughty and Pietrangelo. And no one else is even close.
