Just saying it would be better for te Leafs if the Oilers did make it.

The West in general hasn't looked like the powerful conference it was for soooo long.

meh..it feels like every shot is going to go in
He looks terrible and that wraparound goal

- senstroll

Oh I agree. That goal was brutal.

But McBackup is the value menu, you know? Some nights you might find a hair on your burger but maybe you also get a few extra pickles. Other nights the extra pickles are pubes.

Personally I think there are two reasons.

1) Goaltending
2) Game is trending away from heavy crash & bang styles which is where a lot of Western teams excelled

Yeah i agree with this. Still a lot of heavy/slow teams in the west, the top teams seem to be all based on speed now

Chicago and LA are always scary too but even they are kind of flawed these days.

He looked good making that one huge save, but he was so far out of position it forced him to reach to make that save. The wings didn't even make a play there, he just way out of position.

He was a mess last night.

Very early, but LA's defense and Quick could make them dangerous come playoff time.

Leafs are a team that can do it all, and yes they can defend just look at the Washington game.
Don't be suprised if they make the finals.

I think Dustin Brown found Richard's cocaine pile. Seems like he's faster than he has been since 2012.

I'm trying to not let my head get in the clouds based on the Leafs TEAM.

I told my wife last year when the Leafs were in the playoffs that they were gonna win the cup this year or next year.
I stand by prediction.

I did a quick look on Sportsnet's website, but sadly couldn't find it.

They broke down a goal from last night (I think it was the Leafs' second goal) - 7 passes, pretty sure all 5 guys touched it. Friedman was saying it was like a soccer goal - they just kept moving it to open space, and finally scored. Stretched out the opposition - vertically and horizontally. IIRC, it was over 20 seconds from start to finish.

It was frightening.

Frightening in a really, really good way.

4v4 and 3v3 with Matthews + Nylander is basically a power-play. It's crazy.

I was also half watching that during the intermission but on mute. Was very confused what the little grey boxes with numbers were counting.
