I overemphasised my opposition of MiB to bring this into bring this double standard into focus - the fact that this criticism got picked up but not the gender issue is prrof of that.

I've coached women's hockey. I've coached girls' hockey for the past five years, and will be involved for the forseeable future. I've done more to advance women and girls in hockey thsn you ever will in your entire life, so feel free to drop your holier-than-thou attitude.

I held Jillian to the exact same standard as the other lazy writers on this board. To suggest that I went out of my way to target her based on her gender is patently false, and insulting to me.

I think your eagerness to crusade for women's rights is causing you to lash out at people that may not deserve it.

I'll be honest, I only read a few of Jillian's blogs and lost interest. It wasn't because she's a woman, but because I simply wasn't that interested in the topic. If she was a third Leaf blogger I'd probably read 90% of her work. Am I a sexist now?

Maybe she did face some unfair criticism though. I don't know. I think you may be a little too eager to go after Wedgie though. You can't just decide on your own that anyone that criticizes a female blogger is doing so purely because they are sexist.
