I just drove from Ottawa to Mississauga listening to random radio shows. I stumbled on Rush (frank)ing Limbaugh's station and even that blowhard was talking about his death. Tried to listen to sports radio and it was all about him, they didn't even talk about sports. Then went to a talk radio show and it's wall to wall him. I just didn't appreciate the sycophantic nature of it all.

And if so, why?

Your God has allowed something awful to happen, so what's the prayer for? And why would God do something awful to these people, but then listen to some random person who has never met the families of the victims, and God would then decide to go easy on the victims' families?

"Hey God, it's me, Wedgie. Not sure what you were thinking when you had that asteroid smash into that children's hospital, but I'm sure you have a plan. But hey, while I have you on the line, could you be nice to the surviving families? I'd really appreciate it. Thanks, buddy."

I hear you - I enjoy the music, but I never grew up Canadian and so will never claim to have the bond that many others did to the band.

My favourite Jillian blog was when she filmed herself watching a playoff game from the stands. So it was a video montage of her eating popcorn - and you could hear a game going on in the background.

It was the most boring v-blog I had ever seen, yet there was something so mesmerizing about watching someone so narcissistic she thought we would love to watch her watching a hockey game.
