Didn't he play a game at forward last year?

edit;
Islanders' Thomas Hickey: Scores overtime winning goal against Preds
by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(4/5/17) Hickey scored the winning goal in overtime against Nashville on Tuesday.
Not only did Hickey score the game-winning goal, he also played left wing for stretches of Tuesday's game, which would typically be a huge fantasy boost for a defenseman.

- David_Volek

Yeah he did but it's not like we have injuries where he would have to step in. It would be dumb so I guess it's possible .

Not particularly in love with the idea of him starting against the rangers after sitting for 6 games against a desperate rival. Dougie knows all unbridled faith

Coaching staff has done some good stuff but are they being over coached and just need to play?

I read in newsday weight said he will pencil in pulok and hope its written in pen tomorrow or something like that. Now I ask you if you are really the coach and not the puppet why would you make that statement. Smells like garth has his stink finger in the pie Hahaaaa

Well he's saying he's in tomorrow and hopefully proves he can stay in the lineup permanently. I'm sure you understood the analogy and were being sarcastic

Ledecky and what can only be described as a blonde mannequin sitting front row / batters box next to Yankees dugout.

His teeth really are a poopshow. Maybe hasnt gotten his healthcare coverage from Isles yet? Saw him at a game last year- wearing an ill-fitting expensive suit with a pair of $12 all-vlack sneakers. Guess he’s saving his money fir the new arena?

Yes, but he will save a lot of money when JT walks. More than enough to get his teeth fixed.

Yeah they are. When Brodziak scores, you know you're in trouble.

The Hawks tried the Isles "play for only 20 minutes" strategy and it didn't work. Shocking!

If AV tried to be a bad coach he couldn't attain the lofty heights of bad Capuano has reached. Not even close. Doug Weight is on his way to trying to catch Capuano.

Agreed with the, why the hell is Pulock finally coming in this game in particular as opposed to the last three to maybe work up to this? Also, nice that someone else noticed how (frank)ing terrible Pelech is opposed to me . Getting sick of reading about how fabulous he is on here. I have no idea what Pelech they are watching?

Not sure why Pelech is the only one getting picked on. CDH has been a dumpster fire. Everybody is chasing the puck in their own zone (except Bailey who still just stands still). They only play 20 minutes a night. And let's not forget that fantastic PP.

I don't know why we're surprised Weight is coaching the way he is. After all, he was taught to coach by Crappy.

CDH to me has improved a bit from the first 3 games where as Pelech has consistently turned over the puck for the most part harmlessly but it it still stymies the team from getting any forward momentum. Not a fan and I know he'll be rammed down our throats because of his new contract and Snow's ego.

Yep. Said this before. Gomez must be being taught by Weight because his power play looks exactly like his
