That was an impressive win, I thought Carrick and Zaitsev really stood out on D. Nylander was the best forward, imo.

Connor Brown, 6th round pick guys.

Now I'm not one to defend Todd by any mean.

But that game WAS a complete travesty of officiating and bad decisions.

This being said, it happens, moving on.

No no no no the league has a Toronto bias and anti-habs bias

That guy really is Garf, sorry.

Detroit can't be as good as their record suggests but they are rested.
I also didn't think Jersey was a good as their record suggests, still don't.

- bobbyisno1

no. but they play us tough and are relatively healthy. if mcbackup is mcswisscheese, than it's going to be a long night.

As I said, I understand where he's coming from seeing that game myself.

But he's a complete fool, I agree.

Told at every level that he couldn't make the jump to the next level.

I'm really happy this kid is doing well.

Marner's lost a ton of confidence it seems, but ask an advanced stats guy and he looked great on papier.

Did you see the Bills game a few weeks ago where they ruled the QB of the opposing team had fumbled the ball?

Refs make bad calls. Even video refs.

I think he had mono but no other GM knew so the Leafs management just waited to get him there even though he was basically a first rd pick.

While this is true, don't forget that Dubas had successfully traded all of our picks in the first to fifth rounds, so that we could have every single pick in the 6th round.

At that point, we kinda had to take Brown. There was no one else left.

depth if:

1) andersen/mcbackup get injured
2) mcbackup sucks

1 bad game shouldn't define a season of sucking for him. 3-5 games is a pretty short leash.
