Winning is cool and all, but goddammit we are so much better than this... - Victoro311
They don't look focused at all. Just looks like the classic cup hangover. It also doesn't help that a few of these guys aren't full time NHL players. Ruth correctly wanted to turn over the roster, but unfortunately the replacement players are worse than the guys they replaced. |

This is just a very very VERY bad idea for a sport that is unable to attract a wider audience because of very bad product.
Next, they will have, the playoffs set up like the NCAA Basketball brackets and have host cities from around the country, hosting the various rounds and then a neutral site for the Finals. |

There are just so many other funny ways to answer that question that would probably get me banned...
There's nothing he brings so far that's quality or useful. Once the Pens pick up their true 3C, my guess is you won't see Reaves play every game. |

Unfortunately he's not even good enough to be the threads female dog by the looks of that 3 minutes! He just needs a chance, 1 chance. |

All Reaves does is hit and most of the time they're not even useful hits. I have no idea how someone that big and quick is so completely useless as forechecking and he's not good at defense either. He's had one good game and all the others he's been invisible.
Oh and isn't Reaves supposed to make it so Geno doesn't fight? |

He's currently 4th on the Pens in even-strength goals/60, ahead of bums like Malkin, Kessel, and Guentzel.
I say promote him to Malkin's line to get that bum going. |

Lat night it wasn't any one line that brought us down. Every line was horrible at times. Same with the D pairs. Passes were horrible, bad positional play. Just a poop game from the Pens. |

What was horrible about last night's game? I thought it was entertaining as hell. Track meets are the most exciting games to watch. - j.boyd919
I (personally) enjoy well-played games where both teams act like they've played with their teammates before, not games of unorganized shinny. Just my take.
You can have exciting games without both teams throwing the puck around haphazardly and players being where they're not supposed to be defensively. |

Don't get me wrong, I'd rather have the Pens steamrolling teams like the 15-16 Pens, buuuuuut... this roster is just incapable of that. It's going to be a lot of the same as last year, trade scoring chances and hope the Pens come out on top due to their forwards' finishing abilities. Last night? They did... against Tampa last week? They didn't. That's pretty much going to be the story of the Pens until they make some kind of move to help their depth right now. Replacing Kunitz, Bonino, and Cullen with McKegg, Reaves, and Rowney just ain't gonna cut it. |

I just think that's a product of the roster. I don't believe it looks all that different than last year's Penguins. |

That may be. But I still say I'd rather see exciting games where both teams play well, as opposed to exciting games where both teams play poorly. |

I think theres other things at work here too. I'm watching alot of other teams/games this season it would seem that theres a lot of sloppy playing going on. Usually the first 10 games players/teams arnt that tight but also I think all the PPs are f'n with the sync of games and putting players out of sorts. |

Those could be contributing to the play, but whether it's a league-wide thing or tied to specific teams, I still find it frustrating to watch. |

Picking your opponent seems too "school yard", but it's better than the current format which is full on moronic.

Whats up with Sprong? He looked very impressive playing 4th line for a stint last year. He is dominating the AHL right now and lit up the QMJHL for 2 seasons. Your top 6 forwards are insane, but why is he not helping out in the NHL for you guys???? If you arent gonna use him, send him and a 2nd in return for Henrique would ya. That would help your 3C dilemma |

That's a complete and total overreaction. He's just honing his professional game. It worked fantastic with Guentzel last year. He'll be a full time NHLer by the season's end. We're gonna have to give up a roster player for a 3C probably and injuries will definitely hit at some point. A spot will open for him. |
