This is what happens when you build a team around a freakin' goalie ... sure Price is good but he's not worth a major part of the team's salary budget.

Bergy is learnig a very hard lesson ... I wouldn't want to be in his shoes right now.

Why? I bet those shoes cost a bundle and are comfy.

Montoya should be the starter until he poops the bed.
- J-P

So I guess Montoya won't be the starter after all?

We're officially dead last in the conference. Third worst team in the NHL.

Toronto first overall in the league.

The Leafs fans paid their dues ... but they had to wait 50 years while we won quite a few (many) Cups since then.

It's now our turn, we now have to clean house and fumigate the whole place like the Leafs did a few years ago.

The only way to build a winning team these days is to tank and go into a full rebuild mode. The current Habs team is a fire tire disaster and there's nothing you can do to salvage it.

Reduce ticket prices at the Bell Centre to make it more affordable for casual fans to attend while you do that rebuild.

Sorry, but the current team is going nowhere and charging obscene ticket prices is just ... OBSCENE.

This has been obvious for a while now. Bergevin has to be a Bruins fan. He's methodically and systematically (frank)ed this organization while making sure it will be hard to rebuild and bottom out. Added to this, he delicately gutted any type of future they had.

The Ducks should be a good team to turn it around against.

figure we'll make the trade for Tavares early this afternoon, gives him enough time to get out to LA for the game tomorrow!!!!

My prediction of Tavares to Montreal is dying slowly but surely.

The extreme maneuvering over the summer to hold on to Jordie Benn is pretty representative of this team.
