To be fair they were red hot in october and ended up first of their division last season. And look what happened in the playoffs. But yeah, they first have to get there.

no playoffs this year, lack offense, weak D group, no solution in sight

top 10 pick again this year

They sure could use a top pick. But it will be harder to sell the team to Tavares.

I wouldn't mind JVR or Atkinson next season either.

they need a center....25 years without a top center is unacceptable

In Drouin we trust.

Tavares is not coming here if the team sucks that bad. Unless he is all about the $$$.

Say what you want about #27 being on the 4th line.

They’re getting plenty of ice time so far.

With Ales Hemsky and Torrey Mitchell...

Why, oh why isn't he producing??

Who is available? They have to draft and develop that guy, most likely. You won't get a top center for Galchenyuk and we all know that the UFA market sucks, year after year.

Most contenders don't have the cap space. Maybe he will end up with the Rangers but are they a contender?

As the pundits would say you need to see 20 games into the season to get a true handle on a team.

Well, they would have to win 10 of the next 14 games to be at .500 after 20 games.

They’ll eventually get it righted. And Carey Price isn’t going to keep giving up 4/game. But if they don’t right it in the next 10 days or so they’ll be too far back. You see it every year, decent teams that just can’t get their poop together until November and never catch up.

I think everything will collapse in a few weeks. We don't have the fanbase for a patient rebuild, but it's the only real solution to this mess and we all know it.

I really wouldn't mind seeing us finish last, pick Dahlin and move on.

I think if the plan was clear and explained to the fan base, they'd understand and support it.

I don't expect Las Vegas to finish first or Richard Panik to win the Art Ross, so you may be right.

Everybody is poopting on Galchenyuk but where the (frank) has captain TamPatch been since the begining of the season? Guy is completely invisible.

Ça me fait penser a mon ancienne collègue qui s'est acheté une machine pour faire des tatoos.

It's not unlike last season.... guy becomes invisible for a while, goes on a tear, then returns to invisible in the playoffs.

i just don't see it... unless this is how Price plays all year. i think they will eventually start winning 2-1 and 3-2 games instead of losing 3-1 and 5-2.

i do agree about the full rebuild but you would literally have to tear this organization down to the studs... not just players. because you can't rebuild if you can't develop players.

that's another reason they will start winning eventually. he'll go through a 10 game stretch where he scores 12 times.
