Plekanecs is the only one capable of winning faceoffs.. At this point, in the offensive zone, he coun't possibly be worst than Paccioretty.
I'm not saying resign him, just let Drouin play wing without having to worry about who's defending at center..
Obviously a Tavares would be much better, but not happening..
Maybe they could trade for Desharnais
Anyway, I'm sure the current lines will work.. 11 goals in 7 games - l3ig_l2ecl
those are lousy numbers for a soccer team |

I think Danault has a better FO% than Plek so far this year. |

nobody is producing, Julien will have to try every possible combination and pray something eventually works
How can Drouin, Pacs, Galchenyuk, Gallagher, Leko, Plek, Hudon and Danault all have a bad start to the season, I mean as a team they can't score more than 2 goals a game, it's pathetic. Reminds me of the Habs team a few years ago that could only produce on the PP and sucked at 5 on 5.....except they now suck on the PP also. |

Pittsburgh need a 3rd line center, trade him and retain salary. If they gave up a 1st for Ryan Reaves maybe they're stupid enough to give us Daniel Sprong... |

if we're in a situation where the #1 center spot is an argument between Danault and Plekanec then I think I may need to crank up the #optimism a little bit more. |

He does, and has twice as much points!!
But who would play with Paccioretty if they split him away from Drouin..
And Plek shoots more and has a better shot. Is also better defensively so his wingers could cheat or not worry about D as much.. |
