That was the most ex citing devils game I have seen since 2012 finals

I must say, watching games this year almost has like a playoff feel to it a little bit. I was on my feet last night pacing around my living room watching the end of the 3rd, OT and the shootout. It’s been years since I’ve cared enough to pace.

I agree with you. I think he’s got a little fire right now because he knows this is basically his last shot to show he belongs in the NHL. Once the heat is off a little, he’ll regress.

Nice pass by Nico on tying goal but that play by butcher defending the 2 on 1 saved it

Comfortable with a Greene-Severson top pair and a Butcher-Santini bottom pair with Butcher on PP and Santini on PK. It's that middle pairing problem, any combo of Moore, Mueller, Prout and Lovejoy is a disaster.

If it gets desperate maybe rotate in Dyblenko or whoever looks good down on the farm.

Mueller may look a little better then Helgeson but so much to warrant what we coughed up for him. Shero looks like an offensive genius but that guy's selection of defenseman stinks. I'm not counting Butcher who was a gift from the hockey gods, but Ray certainly gets some big credit for convincing him to come to Newark.
