There are several guys that could sit due to there play. Not just rookies. JT could sit out a game. As could Kuli, CDH, Hickey & Bailey, to name a few. But we all know that won't happen. Crappylytics 101. Punish the kids for the sins of the vets.

He's only scored points in 1 out of the 6 games. He really doesn't look like a player playing for the contract of his life.

Why do people always want to bring draft position into this. (not you in particular) By that logic, MDC should play on the first line over Lee. If Pulock isn't doing what he's supposed to or not showing improvement or Weight/Snow are just idiots(that's my vote :thumbsup then he's not going to play. I have no idea why he's not in the line up (outside of Weight/Snow are idiots). The only thing I can think of is ego.
- Isleshockeyman

I believe draft position is brought up because of the potential of it being just another wasted top 5 pick.

Why? Because high draft picks are the best way to build a team and wasting them is much worse then losing a back up you got for free. Losing a 4th rounder is basically losing a guy you took a chance on but a top 5 pick sbould be a lock in the lineup and have a big to major impact on a team.

This is worse because pulock is a top 5 pick not a waiver pick up.

Not when you're the Isles. Outside of JT, who is on this team that the Isles drafted in the top 5? (I'm at work & don't have time to research it.)

Isles top 5 picks since 2000. Researching this wasn't good for my blood pressure.

2000 1st Rick DiPietro
2000 5th Raffi Torres
2009 1st John Tavares
2010 5th Nino Niederreiter
2011 5th Ryan Strome
2012 4th Griffin Reinhart
2014 5th Michael Dal Colle

So Upstate pointing out several posts ago that high draft picks are the best way to build a team was wrong.
Doesn't do jack-sh!t when you draft like that. Yet another example of Snow thinking he's the smartest one in the room.

Pulock Banged Dougie's wife and that's why he's not playing.

There you go it's a reason, now you guys can stop belly aching that he's not playing because he is more than good enough to fix the teams PP woes defensive liabilities alone but our coach won't put him in so there MUST be a reason. It can't be that he has just played like diarrhea on ice lately.

Let me chime in.

Marc Bergenvin- GM of Habs has been following isles and word has it he is interested in dman. speculation he wants Leddy but we know no way he hell that is happening.
My guess is you could see DeHaan, Pelech, Hickey or Mayfield packaged along with a forward (De Colle, Beau, Kumelin, Bailey) to try to get Galychenuk. that should open the door for Pulock.

Our PP doesnt suck b/c Bailey as point or b/c Pulock isnt playing. Boychuk has plenty cannon to score. And if bailey was doing something wrong on PP i would be first to point it out. The problem is the structure of PP all together. 5 stationary players trying to move the puck to get a shot from point through 3 players and goalie doesnt work.

As it stands right now, Cizikas, Barzal, Nelson, Eberle, Lee, JSH and Bailey have been only guys playing well first 6 games of season.

JT has probably been the worst. trying to do too much is probably the only flaw JT has in his game.

Lets hope it all comes together thursday and we go on alittle streak.

Just throwing it out there and while I do think firing Snow is a good move, he himself doesn't draft the players. His scouts are responsible for that.

Ask Doug Weight, or you could go over to Northwell Health Center Ice Rinks and watch the practices and help Doug and the staff out.
You should bring some of your assistant HB coaches down with you as well.

He fired the head scout because he thinks he can do a better job. He decides who gets drafted. It's all on him. The scouts provide input. Do you honestly think that Snow's ego would allow someone else to decide who gets drafted???
