Tonight is the kinda night that can turn a season around though...at home vs. the division rival double champs....if they win. Hopefully they dont.

EDIT: After reading their game day blog it would seem the lineup is being thrown into a big blender....that can usually go one of two ways...horribly or it ignites something...

So the Bolts get the Pens at home and on the 2nd of a back to back again on Saturday night. That's horrible scheduling.

This might be one of the hardest first months I've seen the Pens ever have. I think it was the year after the 2009 cup that they started on the west coast (Pacific) but I dont recall the back top backs like this...they started 7-1 through first 8 games I believe that year....but they were much younger...

Flyers had the most back-to-backs for the last 2 consecutive seasons. Sucks having long breaks and then B2B and 3 in 4's. Kills any type of rhythm.
