I mean things could be worse. We could have already traded away our first round pick

No comments from the peanut gallery, we have enough horror to go around here already.

We just need a win to settle things down. I think its too early to fire AV but that day is coming if this continues to spiral downward.

They go on a 10 game tear and all this will be forgotten, unless they miss the playoffs.

That's the thing, yes it's early but these points now can haunt us come April. Remember the Isles last yr lost out by a point. It happens, these points are as critical now as they are later in the season.

Maybe its me but I blame Gorton as much as AV. AV can only play the players he is given, he can't make them all have talent that can finish

Every game counts. It's not like they're playing that bad, but putting the puck into the chest of the goalie isn't helping.

No puck luck, bad bounces, whatever you want to say its about results & right now they're not getting them. I do wish it was 25/30 years ago & we could dress some tough guys & they stir sh!t up for a few shifts, we do need some sandpaper element in the lineup cause this team is too vanilla.

Sure Gorton is also to blame, Sather is too. You think AV has no input as to who Gorton signs? His job is to put the team together that fits the coach's model. Sure there were players that we missed out on, but AV has to make it work, and hasn't so far.

You know why, cause he spent the summer saucing it up.

Completely agree. Nobody on this team is raising their level to throw the big hit (except for Nash last night) or drop the gloves to give the team a spark.

I just don't think they are remotely as bad as they are playing. AV needs to make set lines and (frank)ing stick with it. I still think they turn it around.

You're right. Until lines get set there is no chemistry. Hope they turn it around in time to salvage the season, points wise, to make the playoffs.

Fast is a smart player, I wonder if they can convert him to the 4th line center. Hell I would let him play 3rd line center if it means Desharman goes down to the 4th.

It's why they play 82 games and not 6 to decide playoff teams. Every team has a tough stretch at some point at the season. Rangers just getting theirs out of the way early

Maybe AV will set proper lines now that Fast is back.
Almost 39% on faceoffs last year. Desh was 54%.

Kreider is the most likely candidate or B Smith on the D, someone needs to throw down & shake things up.
