I don’t know if this is a good idea or a bad idea but I think it’s interesting: don’t let powerplays straddle periods, play until it’s over and subtract the time from the next period. It will add scoring and there’s nothing more frustrating than setting up a good pp only to have the period end.

I’m not really one of those people who thinks scoring should be artificially inflated though.
