Right now it's hard to say because there's several things I'd have done differently so the team would look different. Benning screwed him over keeping him as a 19 year old in the NHL.

But I agree on your timelines, Gudbranson is what I always said he is, a good third pairing guy, perhaps a decent second pairing guy with the right partner.

I'd rather have McCann 10/10.

I find it funny thinking about how a year ago.... you were predicting playoffs..... glass houses, game 4, Vanek will still get his goals. on pace for 20 anyways, i guess 11 players are on pace for 20 points and tanev/Bo for 40 goals...

I'd only have him on the 2nd pairing on a good team if he was paired with someone who can carry him a bit. Otherwise he'd anchor the 3rd pairing.

Anyone who struggles to receive passes, handle the puck, and beat the forecheck is always going to have capped value to a team. It's the same as having an offensive dman who can't defend. That player only holds so much value to a team because of glaring weaknesses.

That's just reality.
