I can tell how worried you are about Saturday. What's nice is you're accepted here for being good people.

You're the anti-spatso.

worried ? Habs will get a good beating....I am expecting nothing less, they are a mess so far this season

What is not taken into consideration is that McDavid had a 100-point season and won the Hart Trophy in his sophomore season and it is unknown how Matthews will do in his second season after winning the Calder Trophy with 40 goals and 29 assists.

Erm...... That will probably be taken into consideration then. Otherwise it makes no sense. Haha.

Matt Martin could cost the Leafs 19m per year. What's not taken into consideration is he's the 330th best forward in the NHL

Is he really that high?

My daughter is having her birthday sleepover party. Six nine-year-olds.

I'm holed up in the bedroom. Going to run down and grab a plate of food and bolt back up here.

I'm scared.

Had that party many years ago.....you're (frank)ed. Enjoy.

Liljegren - 1 goal, 1 assist in 3 games. Maybe he isn’t a total bust.

I usually predict a loss and hope for win, often thinking they should win but not this year, I haven't seen anything that makes me think they can win against a fast hard working team like the leafs. Don't get me wrong, Habs will get chances to score but they can't bury anything and the Habs D is slow and disorganized, Leafs will score enough to walk away with the 2pts.

My prediction, 5-2 Leafs

I am facing the exact same situation next Saturday night.....same numbers, same age. Any tips or suggestions are welcome.

My daughter has had a couple of these, talking about doing another for her birthday next month......Curl into fetal position, start rocking back and forth and try not to cry too much.

Yes, try to fit in, put on an outfit from your wife closet, use some of her make up and join the girls downstairs. You will have a blast

Pull the "not appropriate for me to be down there" card.

I helped serve dinner. Cleaned the kitchen (make it franking spotless so the wifey has to acknowledge you worked hard).

Then grab three beers, wish them all goodnight and head upstairs. Close the door and tell Mrs. Bullethead she's in charge for the rest of the evening.

Habs will lose 3-1 despite getting 45 shots on net.

I don't really care about the score of tonight's game.

I'm just hoping Gardiner and Martin have good Corsi metrics.

You're right those corsi numbers on the 4:23 that Martin will play, will be huge. Leafs will probably lose, even the Habs fans are picking the Leafs. What is more interesting to me is who is Bergevin going to trade Galchenyuk for? I think he's trying to raise his market value by putting him on the fourth line.

If he plays really well on the fourth line, he may get a $3.5 million X 4 year contract from the Leafs, and I'll lose my mind reading posts about how he's the kind of player you win Stanley Cups with.
