How about more like Kucherov? Svechnikov doesn't have excessive speed, not a super lethal shoot. He's just good at both.
- manvanfan

I'd say Kovalchuk actually. He's very high hockey IQ, not just a pure scorer. Bure no. Mogilny maybe. He's more big and physical like Malkin though.

Watch this and tell me he doesn't have a lethal shot https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kDk5gw5q9Vo

I was also one of the few posters that liked Sbisa but I think it's a stretch to say he had trade value. He was overpaid.

Agree to disagree, nothing new

Colin Miller is also a big reason that d-line has done well so far, the guy is very solid.

Look at all the Sbisa supporters coming out of the woodwork now.

I was into Sbisa before he was mainstrem
Saw him play for the Winterhawks.

Powerplay still stinks, Edler is still a bum. Business as usual folks.

From Craig Button:
2. Vancouver Canucks pick Adam Gaudette may earn a place on Team USA at the 2018 Winter Olympics, judging by his performance early this season. The 21-year-old centre has one goal and five points in two games with Northeastern after scoring 26 goals and 52 points in 38 games in 2016-17. Gaudette, 6-foot-1 and 184 pounds, was a Canucks’ fifth-round pick in 2015 (149th overall). Since then, he has developed into an authentic NHL prospect.

What's with all the horrendous mismanagement of players nowadays (Shipachyov, Duchene, etc...)?

So TG thinks that was the best game they've played, sure glad Benning didn't interview anyone else.

I don't know if i'd classify it as lethal. Probably above average. I think the way he can get a wrister off so quickly.
Watching this, he really reminds me the way he moves of Kucherov. Can really dangle at speed.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YzsXtd8nipU Fast forward to the 7:30 to find him. McIsaac would be a nice pick up. Everybody in that top 10 I would take.

I like the fact the club has kept Pouliot out of the limelight, hopefully he draws in next game if Edler can't go.

Are you saying that green isn't the best coach we've seen?

I had him for a jack Adams trophy until last night, now i worry that he's not even echl caliber....

Thanks for sharing, I guess that means we can put to bed the reasoning that he still needed to recover from mono and could only effectively do that in Sweden.

Much more excited to see what we've got with Pouliot vs Biega (nothing against Biega, but he is what he is)

I'm sure there was probably a little more too it. Oh well, he's playing. Getting top minutes and his ELC slides.

And his contract doesn't count.
