I'm willing to give it 25 games then assess. I'm glad Edler is out hopefully long term we can get Pouliot in there…need to have a look at him. Granlund, Bo, JV have all looked decent so far. Gagner and Vanek should come around but LE and Baer have looked lost. Would like to see a PP with Gagner/LE to get them rolling. Hutton needs to be filtering pucks in on the back end on the PP as well.

It will be nice to see Pullout getting a long look. We should have a quick trip to the bottom of the league while Edler is out, some non-competitive games ahead. LHD depth of MDZ, Hutton and Pullout is scary slim.

Was at the game, he had lots of different line mates last night, really liked him with Nolan Foote and Kindree. They're both not draft edible for 2 more years.
He played with Dube on the pp and pk. Topping was there for most of the game though. Hence Toppings 3 pts.

We are into the 2000 draft kids. Kindree is eligible this year. Foote just has a November birthday.

If it wasn’t for special team minutes, I wonder how much time Eriksson would see, Baertschi was second most for forwards, and personally I thought he was weak.

How long before there are questions about Greens favouritism for certain players, Baertschi with 18:16, Virtanen 07:06.

Yeah so much for rolling 4 lines. TG got a taste of winning too soon.

As I mentioned yesterday rolling 4 lines will keep the energy up, Sedin's will be more effective playing less minutes (guessing) won't be so tired.

Playing the "kids" more will give the team a bit more energy. They need minutes to create as well.

lol…even if Edler is in it's a quick trip my friend. I've watched MDZ and Hutton plenty but really want a long look at Pouliot. Optimistic he can succeed here given the right situations.

Anybody heard anything on Edler's injury or lines for tonight? 10 hours from game time. I need time to freak out.

This is true, I'd like to see Hutton sat to make room for Pullout, I think he's got some serious skill if he can get it together at the NHL level. I'm a fan of the trade and feel he's well worth the 4th round pick.
I'm very glad we didn't give Vegas that 4th to take Guance instead of Sbisa.

Dahlin-Tanev
OJ-Guds

Does looking appealing to me.

IF they don't trade away Tanev

- manvanfan

When do you think Dahlin would be ready for NHL? If it is D+2, Tanev may not be here.
Have you found anything on recent pick Gunnarson? I feel he may be a Tanev replacement in couple years.

Dahlin will probably be ready next season. According to some poopty translation, he is getting better game by game in SHL.

Gunnarsson is pointless and playing 3rd pairing on the same team as Dahlin. I don't know if he will ever make the NHL.

You have a better chance of pigs flying out of Nighthawks arse than having Dahlin or Gunnarson in our line up

People will continue to find something to complain about even when what they want is being implemented. Last game the “the youth, the kids” played more than the “vets” but it’s still the fault of the “vets”.

I wonder if there could be any chance that the youth with the extra time are not at all noticeable, but the vets actually make plays happen, so they stand out and the kids do not.

It just another way to look at the things, not trying to rip or be negative, besides have patience everyone.

- Makita

I agree. The balance of lines
and Green matching lines was really good. The Sedins weren’t even the #1 PP. Can’t remember who was that didn’t like Boeser on the point during the PP but I thought it was ballsy and the puck movement was great. I know it’s early but the team seems faster.

He has about as much of a chance making the team as Nucker does finding a girlfriend.

It's just the reality of where they are as a franchise from previous management, current ownership and current management. This is part of the process, doesn't mean people shouldn't express their displeasure with it.

Playing all youth is the wrong thing to do, playing all vets is the wrong thing to do and finding the best fix of youth and vets is not an easy task.

Sounds like both Boucher and Goldobin are being used on both special teams and having success at defensive side of puck.🖒
