Things are good mein Freund. Back from the woods for good now.
So how has Eberle looked? I haven't seen any of the Isles games. |

Don't give me that shat Dan, Barzal, JHS and Tito earned there ice time in pre season and Pulock hasn't . I'm thinking that Richardson likes the toughness of Mayfield and you can go cry in your Pulock pillow but imho he isn't your best option but maybe you know better than a NHL coach and his newly appointed staff. - nyisles7
First off.... lose the attitude, secondly
My point is is how does two weeks of preseason games erase the past 12 months? And why can't mayfield and Pulock be in the same lineup when de Haan is a garbage fire and hickey and Pelech bring little to the equation. When you are losing games because of your PP shouldn't you try something different? |

Unnoticeable. Think he needs a couple more games to gel with Lee & JT. Well see.
So your done for the summer? Are you going back to your old job? Or do they have other things for you? |

Friday night the attitude comes on with the beer
12 months of AHL play means zero if you play like shat in the preseason when you are trying To prove you belong.
He will get his shot soon enough. I think Richardson likes the toughness Mayfield brings. |

Done for the summer, can afford to do odd jobs for the winter.
How was Eberle in pre-season? I was really hoping the Lee-JT-Eberle line would be magic. |

I'd love to find out how important pre-season is to the Isles. Barzal seemed to have a very good camp last year and still spend all that time in the pressbox. I think you have to look at the players upside and his entire body of work and not just a few pre-season games. It was a very small sample, but we saw the impact Pulock can have during that Florida series. Isles finished the pre-season unbeaten and so far it's been a struggle. Pre-season is not the NHL playoffs. |

I think the bigger question is why did he look so good in that series and other times but now has seemingly taken another step back? There's something wrong there. |

I think his confidence has been shaken not getting a shot last year. He had some bad luck with injuries as well. |

I also thought he should have been traded before camp. While I think JT would like to re-sign with the Isles, it's a big risk no question. I still think the Isles get approved for the new building. It might take a while though. |

Ses for what ever reason Doug and the staff haven't put him in. They see him everyday and always want to field the best team on the ice to win. As far as Barzal JHS and Tito they were hands down the best players on the ice game in game out in preseason and quite honestly have been really good in the regular season as well.
Pulock's not in tonight again so he's not opening anyone's eyes.

They couldn't trade him. They have no choice but to hope for the best. JT has had all the power in this negotiation from the start. You know this. |

I just think we should be careful about putting such stock in pre-season. If a guy like Cal went on a tear in pre-season, would he get bumped up to the 1st line? I get not taking Mayfield out, but Hickey is not a long term answer and de Haan can sit a game with the way he has player. I just did not expect a prospect like Pulock to sit the first five games under Doug. With Cappy heck yes. Maybe it all works out. Hopefully it does. |
