Not sure how much more PP "entertainment" my tv can withstand before finally caving in from beer bottle abuse.

I really hope they go 0-100 and Pulock is still in the pressbox.

It is very early, but very troubling signs early on with both teams. Doug Weight is making Cappy look good right now.

AV has only kept 1 line together more than 1 game since the beginning of the season.

Literally every game night someone is playing with someone else. I'm wondering if he is trying to get fired.

Really there are too many skilled players now to have a 4th line of bruisers. While it was certainly entertaining I think that era is gone and will never come back.

I think it will at some point. Everything is cyclical. It probably won't be for another 20 years or so. You're right though. Those days are over. Anybody who can fight needs to be able to chip in, score & skate as well.

All kidding aside, too many guys are getting hurt. I think it's time to end it. Just give me guys not afraid to take or give a hit and who will go to the net and I'm happy.

Honestly I think Gorton needs to take some heat as well and Sather did not put the team in the best position.

Guys nowadays feel a hockey stick around the hands or feet and act like they got shot. Either falling to the ice or dropping their sticks and start looking to the refs for a call. Gone are the days of guys hitting and being hit.

I like the middle weight fights that are spontaneous.

The "lets know we are going to fight , right off the faceoff" are kind of dumb, and really rarely ever happen anymore.

I don't think it should be eliminated especially if its part of the flow of the game, etc.

He was not a big guy, but back in the day Gary Howett on the Isles could really fight. I would rather just end it at this point. I also want bigger nets. Think it should be tried first in the AHL.

Isles dynasty and 80's music. What's not to love about the 80's?

I wish they'd ease up with the rule changes for a little while. This year they basically added rules to last year's rules. They have so much stuff they're looking out for now that there's almost always a penalty or stoppage for something. If they could find a way to get more continuous 5-on-5 hockey while still keeping the worst of the clutching, grabbing, and hooking at bay, I think we'd probably have quicker games that are more entertaining and with a lot more flow.

The problem is the NHL never makes the right rule changes. They change things like the playoff format and OT and make things worse. I think with bigger goalies, it actually makes sense to make the nets a little bigger. At least see how it goes in the AHL.

I dont know what people expect from this team it has been the same team year after year. Nothing has changed.I will say this. This team this year seems to play with a little more life then last years and the years before. I dont know but I think we are going to be all right and I am usually ripping this team.

Doug WEight and the power play issues goes back for years. As for Pulock playing do I think he is the savior on the power play absolutely not. I mean he might get us a goal or two but the guy is not that great at defense so that pretty much negates that.

wow i agree with you. I dont think Pulock would change the issues with pp either. For starters, I think our defense ex DeHaan has been pretty good. Pelech and Mayfield has been great. (Except for Pelech nice tip in goal for kings last night, he learned that move from hamonic). Its not like Pulock is sitting for Seidenberg. Isles actually have high class problem of too many good players with not enough spots.

I believe isles have conceded first goal in 5 of the 6 games this year. I think sould focus on scoring first. it helps.

dear Cizikas haters,
what do you think of Casey thus far this year. Do you think overpaid by extending him? Leading the Isles.

Im still cant believe tavares missed that net last night. that extra point at minimum would have been amazing.

Isles still havent gotten over that hurdle of what separates the good teams with the great team. Great teams find a way to win the close games.
