Rangers lost again, oddly no rangerdanger
- Upstate_isles

I did not like the moves the Rangers made. They do not have the offensive horses. Too much pressure on Hank and the D. Still did not expect a 1-5 start.

No no. 1 center and a traffic cone in Shattenkirk combined with Grabner definitely not reaching 25+ goals like last year will absolutely make them go 1-5. Also, Lindy Ruff is a downgrade to that coaching staff.

What a monster game for Greiss. Absolutely aid on his head and won this game. They got outplayed last night. Barzal looked good. Just couldn't bury one. I liked JHS 's hustle back checking. Man that kid has some wheels. They didn't turn the puck over much. Nothing too egregious anyway. They need to just scrap the PP and go back to PP 101. Enough with the gimmick crap. Keep Bailey on the bench.
I had to watch the Sharks feed. Did Weight say anyone of substance in his post game?

If you were the sharks coaches would you tell them to play any different next game?

The Nash trade really hurt them with all the money he is making. So far Shatternkirk has not worked out and the Rangers have missed on a lot of these dmen they have brought in.

I differ, Nash is on final year of contract & they have managed their cap regardless. Shatty will be fine, too early into season to write him off.....

Will be interesting to see if Beau gets back in today? I like the idea of sitting the young guys and then getting them right back in.

Greiss did steal that one agreed. I think both coaches can't be happy with the sloppy play especially the lack of defense in the neutral zone. Also I think both teams took a turn having a really good period so basically played 20 minutes well out of the 60.
Islanders did get the win and you take it but man I don't think the way they played is a recipe for success.

I think he will. Cal, Kuli or Chimer can take a seat as far as I'm concerned.

I would pick Kuli to sit. I hope Halak is better today and does not space out like last game.

They haven't announced anything yet. I would bet Halak gets the start. Here's a tweet from Staple last night after the game:

Weight on sitting Beau: "People don't like to hear it, but I went with the size and speed and experience with Chimmer."
