The way I see it you either are uninformed or just choose to ignore the facts. Support or don't support whoever you want but don't label or criticize those that do based on ignorance.

"The Department of Justice has opened a civil rights investigation into the deadly car attack that killed one innocent Americans and wounded 20 others. To anyone who acted criminally in this weekend’s racist violence, you will be held fully accountable. Justice will be delivered. As I said on Saturday, we condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence. It has no place in America. And as I have said many times before, no matter the color of our skin, we all live under the same laws. We all salute the same great flag, and we are all made by the same Almighty God. We must love each other, show affection for each other and unite together in condemnation of hatred, bigotry and violence. We must rediscover the bonds of love and loyalty that bring us together as Americans.

Racism is evil and those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs, including the KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists and other hate groups that are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans. We are a nation founded on the truth that all of us are created equal. We are equal in the eyes of our Creator. We are equal under the law. And we are equal under our Constitution."

Donald J. Trump

How many days after did he say that? How about how he first called some of them good guys? You're missing the bigger picture. Being pressured to make that speach instead of that being the most natural thing that comes to mind are two different things.

More fabricated outrage.

Hyper analysis of his exact wordings, followed by criticism for a delay to ensure a careful response to a sensitive issue is fabricated outrage. More pushing of nonsense narratives like he's a white supremacist. It gets dumber and dumber. What he said is fundamentally correct. You just didn’t like it. You know because the Russian thing has turned up absolutely nothing they needed something else to squeal about for a bit. It's sad at this point. None of it has anything to do with politics but an extended mud slinging session. The MSM is so clearly falling all over themselves to make Trump look bad at every step.

People going really far out of their way to make someone else look bad, reveals more about them and makes people wonder what they are trying to hide. Look at Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign for reference. Clinton and the DNC has been pretty much proven guilty of everything they accused Trump of during the campaign. They actually tried to rig the election with giving the answers ahead of time. They straight up cheated and were caught. Yet the wheel spins and Trump is the bad guy because he said something that was true in an apparently insensitive way? These people all knew Weinstein was a total creep, yet he was their liaison to the elites so they looked the other way. All of them. Who’s platform is pretending to care about women’s rights? It’s all a lie.

At every step identity politics are just a vehicle, a backdoor way to pretend to have a moral high ground, not in actually doing so, but just through accusations of others being morally corrupt.

Not everyone is dumb enough to let their emotions and the “best” or “most impassioned” presentation from popular people, override sensible and objective analysis of the information presented.

Objectively speaking, it is a matter of course for a President to speak out immediately and offer to heal and comfort victims of tragedies. It's basically his main job. And it's the easiest part of it.

I'm sorry but you're framing this in a really bad way. The guy tweets about anyone who insults him in real time, and can't be bothered for days to say the right thing. It's not fake outrage, it's just preposterous.

The President is expected within hours to denounce evil and promise succor and Trump has failed spectacularly at that.

His rancor against black NFL players while saying that there are 'some good' people in a white supremacist march should make it so that it is no longer moral to support him. And that's without even bringing up the striking similarities to Harvy Weinstein.

I disagree. What Trump said is correct, and I think you are wrong and presenting inaccuracies to promote your point. The white supremacists showed up to a statue protest. Trump said they weren't all bad people, because they weren't. Don't forget, he is everyone's president. The people that were not white supremacists that were protesting the removal of the statues have the right to protest and not be met with violence.

He came out and said a pretty status quo response, not having all the information and condemned the violence and said there were good and bad people on both sides. All of which is accurate. Again you just didn't like he didn't "strongly condemn" the supremacists "enough".

Fabricated outrage.

And again through blaming others of being morally corrupt, when the people on the other side were using violence in a country where you can peacefully protest anything you want. But let's not talk about them. Let's focus on the "White supremacists" which by the way make up such an insignificant percentage of society, the fact that they are even in the conversation is proof of identity politics.

No. If you go to protest anything to do with the confederacy, you are not a good person. End of story. There is no equivocation. The Confederacy committed treason, and they fought a way to be able to own slaves. That is indisputable. So if you decide to get out of bed to protest that, you are _______ human garbage. End of story. Believe me, when he said 'there were some good people there' my outrage was not fake. I felt sick to my stomach. I was the most shocking thing I'd ever heard a public figure say. It continues to be the low point in a series of constant and shocking low points.

You are conflating your opinion and fact. The Civil war was as much about a fundamental disagreement on constitutional principles as anything. It is history. Was Brittan racist and are the people who came to America horrible to keep in history? No.

Just because YOU think that people who's opinions about HISTORY and how it should be treated are "racist", and "bad people" doesn't make them so. It's merely your own opinion and only that. You can draw the line between the two all you want. It doesn't make it the truth. It's okay to have opinions, just don't confuse them with facts.

No it wasn't buddy. Check your facts and get back to me. YOU ARE WRONG and saying that is frankly disgusting.

It is my opinion that racist people suck, but it's a fact that all decent people agree with me about that.

I personally am from the North and have no stake in the argument, and could care less about the statues one way or the other. I just understand that there are various opinions about it, and completely disagree that historical statues about people and events in history = racism.

Of course racism is wrong, it goes without saying unless you are talking to a liberal. For some reason if you don't profess things that are obviously bad and evil, you are clearly "for" it to a liberal. We probably would have moved past racial issues much more in the USA if it weren't used to troll for votes via identity politics.

And no, the original protest was about the statues. The whole thing snowballed from there when the other idiots planned to participate. (Nazi and Antifa).

Again trying to make me look like a bad guy. Like a broken record: "agree or you are a racist/bad person". No I just think it is all just overhyped, overblown and glorified purposefully to drive home that narrative. Conservatives are racists and liberals are the savior of the women and minorities so you better vote for us. Its bullpoop.

You said that he does not condemn white supremacists and people need to get their facts straight. You have been prove wrong. Now you're changing your tune and you're still wrong. People are misconstruing his statement. What he said was simply that not everybody who was there, was a bad person. That is simply factually true. It may not have been the best thing to say politically but it is true. I'm not missing anything. You're full of it.
